Hiring a writer is difficult because it’s kind of impossible to know how it will turn out until it’s done.
The Goal of a Writer
The main goal of a writer is to accurately and powerfully communicate something in writing so that it really gets across and impacts the reader. This is sometimes easier said than done. Trust me. I know.
As a writer, my mission is not necessarily to be the author of the original idea—it’s YOUR idea and YOUR vision. My mission is simply to translate it into words and get it across to another.
Free Custom Writing Sample
The main concern is that there is no way for you to know how a finished work will turn out, right? I mean, you can judge my writing by reading my website, but how will it apply to you and your specific circumstances? How will your exact project turn out?
That is the question.
To address this, I have a free service which is open to anyone.
You send me whatever you want written: a website, a speech, an ebook—whatever. I’ll write a sample of it and send it back to you so you can get a feel for how it will turn out. You can actually see a completed section of the work and decide if you like it.
This is literally a custom sample of my work, just for you and just for your project.
Before and After
One of the best ways to use this service is to send me an already-existing web page, or send me a first draft of something you’re working on. I’ll take the original and then rewrite it so that it really pops. You’ll be able to look at a before and after and see the difference.
This is actually one of the best ways to sell a client on my writing: just have them send me something they already have and I’ll rewrite it for them so they can compare the two. The product closes the deal.
